Pastor

United Congregational Church of Little Compton, R.I., an independently spirited 300-year-ld iconic New England church, is seeking a pastor of integrity, intelligence, warmth and compassion with a sense of humor who loves his or her calling. We are a theologically diverse congregation who thrives on inspiring, intellectually stimulating sermons that are based on the challenges in our daily lives. We are seeking someone who can minister to this family-oriented congregation, which values its children and youth as well as its elderly members.

We are in a coastal community in Southeastern Rhode Island. An active year-round population is complemented by a sizeble number of summer residents. We are looking for a pastor who will be welcoming and open to the community and accepting of persons with divergent views. Our pastor will have a clear sense of the direction of his or her ministry and can help people develop their spiritual lives.
