The Reunited Society of Believers

The Society of Believers is re-envisioning and rebirthing the faith, practices, and ideals of the Millennial Church aka the “Shakers” in an evolving, inclusive way.

Shakers, or the United Society of Believers in Christ’s Second Coming, likened their Divine-human relationship as children to a loving Mother and Father.

They acknowledged that Gifts among the brethren and sistren were God-given and to be put to Good use.

They created Ordered lives that harmonized work, worship, and family.

Like the early Believers, we seek reverence for Life, and to live into the realm of Spirit in our day to day loving, struggling, and experiencing the Real within the messiness.

Our Commitments

The Society of Believers seeks to:

·     Welcome all who want to participate in a compassionate community devoted to cultivating our relationship with God and our Mother Earth;

·     Provide a safe haven for people to nurture their relationship with Spirit and/or their authentic Selves;

 ·    Empower people to live more abundantly through connecting Spiritual Gifts and human needs in a radically inclusive community of Being;

·     Support one another in turning away from addictions  and toward recovered lives;

·     Encourage people to live sustainably and interdependently, guided by simplicity, equality, love and order;

·     Promote the publication of spiritual works of art, music, liturgy, and literature.
