The Village of Fox Point is a suburban residential community of 2.8 square miles and approximately 6,630 residents (January 1, 2013 estimate).
Officially incorporated in 1926, the Village’s name derives from a Dutch settlement that was originally located in the area. About Our Church:
North Shore Congregational Church, founded April 27, 1949, is an active, vibrant congregation pursuing our mission “to grow and deepen Christian discipleship in a faith community guided by the Holy Spirit.” A membership of more than 500 allows NSCC to have significant youth and adult ministry programs, including Summer Bible Camp, Sunday school, movie nights, an Advent Festival, Confirmation, and Stephen Ministry, to name a few.
Benevolence programs assist national and international missions, and our outreach programs touch the lives of hundreds, even thousands in our local community.
Worship is held in a beautiful, well-maintained complex in a wooded area of Fox Point. Our very strong existing ministerial, music, support, and custodial staff and a long list of volunteers round out a wonderful, well-respected church home.
About the Opportunity:
Our current Senior Pastor, Karl Schimpf, is retiring after more than 30 years of serving North Shore Congregational Church.
